When I was first writing this story, I had just learned to knit a few months ago. As a crocheter of several years, knitting seemed so challenging. After several dropped and twisted stitches, I got the hang of it! While knitting and crocheting, I became curious about where my yarns were coming from, leading me to research the process.
Where's My Sweater? comes from my love for fiber arts and appreciation for handmade garments. From a sheep's back to your own hands, it's such an incredible thing to know where your clothes are coming from. When I knit or crochet myself a sweater, I take pride in knowing the time it took to complete each stitch. I hope that this story allows us to honor our clothes just a little more and encourages you to try making your own!
